Lightly running, I went to the place the children usually meet me. They were seen as troublesome kids to everyone in our little set of towns. I looked around tightening my grip on my basket. The fresh bread was waiting for the little mouths to chew down on.
"Hmm..." I looked at the small watch on my wrist that mother insisted on getting me. "It's getting too late, mother will start worrying if I don't get back soon..."
Even after growing of age and being free to go out on my own, mother still worried if I wasn't home on time. A smile crossed my face, she did care for me.
"Maybe they got caught up in another one of their little pranks," I l

Re-Myth's Sword-Ch.1
The loud noise of metal meeting metal rang through the silent streets. His yellow eyes grew wide as he turned to face what happened. A silver gun, with a snake for a muzzle and the name "Medusa" engraved on the barrel, blocked the blow of a wide sword.
"Filthy peasant, you don't even know what you're up against, do you?" Her voice harshly snapped with a hint of over confidence.
"What the hell?" The man before her froze.
Despite her small build, she was able to block the attack of a husky adult. Her long, golden hair was the first thing that stood out to the boy, how beautiful a shade it was and how pure of a color it looked. She pushed for

Myth's Summer
The boy wore a white t-shirt and blue jeaned shorts. He looked around until shouting came from behind him.
"Hey, Jadyn!"
He smiled and turned to face the familiar voice, "Angel!"
She wore a light blue tank top and dark blue shorts with black knee-high boots. Angel ran to his side.
"You promised me we'd go to the beach," she grumbled.
"Oh, you actually wanted to go?" Jadyn's eyes widened slightly.
"Well... Yeah, I guess so," she muttered.
"I suppose we could plan something for the near future," he wrapped his arm around her waist.
"The summer doesn't last forever, you know..." She glared.
"Yes, but it'll keep coming back," he grinned

"Andraste," a familiar voice came from behind her.
"Oh, Cernunos," she turned and smiled at him, her red hair framing her face. "I'm glad you're fully healed, now."
"Yes, it's all thanks to a certain mage who healed most of my wounds," he grinned.
"That makes me glad, then," she closed her eyes for a moment.
"I'm glad that you're fine," he nodded. "I was so worried when you passed out on the battlefield. You shouldn't push yourself so much, you know? It'll be a one way ticket, if you keep doing that."
"I know, the doctors made that quite clear," she sighed. "I just... I have to keep moving, no matter what."

She swung the cart forward, taking out the small blue creatures that tried to run. Every time they broke apart, red particles covered the area, and more of her body.
"Everything will be destroyed because of me," she muttered.

"Manasvi, I'll stop this problem before it makes its way to the humans," Zasha stated, a sword forming in her hand.
"Don't get careless. This virus is strong and has no sense of when to stop," Manasvi stated. "One wrong move and you'll be another toy for the virus to use."
"Yes, I'll be careful," Zasha nodded. "This foe won't be taken lightly. I won't hold back."

All Fall Down-Ch.1
My feet pound against the ground, until I leap up an grab hold of a loose piece of metal. I scurry up to the slanted roof before glancing back. Black creatures of all different types, ranging from humanoid to animal, large to small, were tailing me. I slide down the side of the roof, spreading my yellow wings. The wings' gears turn as steam-filled air passes through them. The yellow halo above my head rotates with the breeze. My orange twin-tails, that turn white at the tips, blow behind me once I take flight. I reach into one of the many pouches along my belt and pull out a switchblade that had a clear case over it, letting the inner gears b

They abandoned the horses once the reached the courtyard. Liches covered the area, all except the one they were looking for. Cernunos pulled out his sword.
"Cernunos," Andraste stopped herself from continuing her thought.
"I'll be fine. We have to do this. We can't stop here," he charged at the walking skeletons.
"Qenity," lighting took out nearby enemies, giving Cernunos some space.
He slashed down the Liches that tried to attack. Andraste stayed at a distance and continued to use her spells to keep them at bay. Loud laughter broke their focus.
"Taranis," Andraste whispered.
"You," Cernunos growled, racing through the field of Liches.
They arrived within a few days, after buying new horses. The kingdom was in flames. Liches scurried around the streets, attacking the remaining citizens.
"Oh, god," Cernunos' eyes widened. "We have to find my father!"
"Yes, we have to get to the castle by any means," Andraste nodded, her voice sounding weaker than usual.
"You don't have to join me. I'm more than capable of handling this myself," he glanced at her.
"Don't worry about me," she sighed. "There are more important things to worry about."
"But..." He shook his head. "Fine, let's go."
The pair raced through the streets, taking down any liches in the way until they reached the s
The pair walked through the forest. Andraste's face was pale and bags were starting to form under her eyes. Cernunos looked over at her with concern.
"H-Hey, do you want to get some rest? We haven't slept since... He died, again," he muttered the last part.
"I'm fine," she whispered.
"I understand you want to stay strong, but I also understand that seeing your mentor, who you thought was dead, die twice is going to be draining. You don't have to try and stay strong, Andraste," he put a hand on her shoulder.
"I'm fine," she repeated, moving onward.
"Andraste..." He sighed and followed after her. "At least, let me lead the way. If anyone a
The two of them were heading out of the are when a blast of fire slammed into one of the dead trees. The tree finally fell and blocked their path.
"Not again," Andraste froze.
"Don't worry, I'll protect you," Cernunos pulled out his sword. "We'll find out who's behind all of this."
The Liches they saw at the village were charging at them. Cernunos stabbed through them, one after another.+*
"Meio," Water blasted out of her hand and took out nearby foes.
"Not bad," He smirked, cutting another one down.
"Hoilku," Wind swept up the enemies. "You're not too bad, I suppose."
"They keep coming," He pushed one back and stabbed another.
"There
"Hey, we're here," Cernunos gently woke the sleeping mage in his arms.
"Hm?" Her eyes fluttered opening before she looked at her surroundings. "It's just as I left it."
The forest around the area was healthy and had no signs of war. There was an obvious difference between the normal forest and the old home of the Ancient Mage's. The grass was damaged to the point no grass or trees could grow. Ashes dusted the ground, covering everything in sight.
"Around here," Andraste hopped out of his arms and ran over to a tree stump. "I was hidden in the indent here. There was also a spell to assist in that."
"He went through such great lengths to pr
"Andraste, please, don't push yourself," Cernunos held her shoulders.
Bandits tried to block their path and she used her magic to scare them off. Andraste had fallen back into Cernunos, with bags under her eyes.
"I want to... Go to my homeland," she whispered. "I must confirm that everyone is truly dead..."
"Alright, I'll go you there. There's just two problems; you need rest and I'll need directions," he smiled, softly.
"But we're nowhere near a village," she looked around at the vast open fields that surrounded them.
"I can carry you," he lifted her up in his arms, one on her back and the other holding up her legs.
"But-"
"No protest
Four days had passed and they were on their way to another village. They raced over the path.
"I won the times before so, what makes you think you'll win?" Cernunos shouted back to her.
"Maybe because I let you win all those times," she stated, running in front of him.
"W-What? You're joking, right?" He asked, nervously.
Andraste laughed, but was cut short when she looked back to see Cernunos was frozen in place. She made the horse move next to his and looked in the same direction. Red painted the night sky. Ash and smoke covered the village they were headed for. Flames engulfed the buildings.
"Fire..." She muttered, her eyes wide.
"We
"Come now, Princess, we have a long day of journeying ahead of us!" Andraste cheered as they made their way to the Inn's stable.
"Sleeping in such a place is impossible," he sighed. "My back still hurts."
"You truly are a little princess," she muttered.
"What did you just say?" Cernunos growled.
"You are a whiny princess, aren't you?" She shouted.
"You should watch your tongue! I could have you beheaded when I'm king!" He yelled, suddenly feeling full of energy.
"How about we have a little wager?" She smirked.
"I'm up for anything since I know I'll win," the prince stuck his nose in the air.
"Whoever gets to the next village last has
The two of them sat on opposite sides of a table in the Inn. Their table was rotting and cobwebs grew in the corners of it, just like in the room. Parts of the ceiling were starting to come down. The entire Inn was the one room which was fair from large. Cernunos looked unamused about staying in such poor conditions.
"Why did you choose here? There's a better Inn across the way," the prince muttered.
"I thought this place needed some love. Besides, people of my time found small things to be rather cute," Andraste replied, holding her head up high.
"Can you just tell me more about this mentor of your's?"
"Alright, alright. My mother was st
